NM: Rio Arriba Co. Along US 64/84 NW of Chama, 3.5 mi SE of where US 64/84 divide.
Plants scattered but numerous in rocky, sandy
soil along hwy shoulder. Plants low, 0.5-1.0 ft.
tall, branching from the base, young heads not
particularly sticky. Perennials, flowering
plants forming new rosettes. Growing with
G. aphanactis (Wetter 706).
