line, 4.4 mi S of jet with Natl. Forest Rd 475.
Plants common in rocky hwy shoulder and adjacent
rock face in pine-juniper area. Mostly
restricted to open areas of shoulder in loamy
gravel. Rosettes common. Plants starting to
flower, branching from base. Some with single
stem branching above the middle. Heads not
very sticky. Elev. 7000 ft.
