NM: Catron Co. Along US 180, 26.6 mi N of
Catron-Grant Co. line, 14.5 mi N of jet with NM
78 at Alma, 10.4 mi S of jet with NM 12.
Plants common along rocky, sandy road shoulder
and bar ditch and in adjacent field in open
areas. Pine-juniper-oak association, Metilotus,
Helianthus, and various grasses present. Some
plants with basal rosettes (these mostly on hwy
shoulder), most with single stems and no basal
rosette. Basal rosettes for next year common.
In full flower, ranging from 0.75-2.5 ft tall.
