Plants very common along rocky shoulder in red,
volcanic soil. Well into flowering. Plants
ranging from 0.5-3.0 ft. tall. Small plants
probably injured. Tall plants willowy. Most
uninjured plants with one stem, branching well
above the middle. Growing at edge of pine
forest. Elev. 7400 ft.
