NM: Union Co. Along US 64/US 87, rest area just W of Des Moines, 8.6 mi E of jct US 64/87 and NM 325 in Capulin.
Plants common but scattered in clay soil along
hwy shoulder and in adjacent field. 1.5-2.0
ft. tall. Most plants with multiple stems
from the base, each stem then branches from
above the middle. Apparently biennials.
Growing with a variety of grasses, Helianthus
and Artemisia.
