Lot 9, between NW 1/4 and NE 1/4. 0.6 km S-SW of
Visitor Center parking lot, in open field just W
of blacktop road, bordered by upland pine forest,
with Pinus taeda, P. elliottii. Large shrubby
annual herb, 7-8 dm tall, with 1 root and 1 main
stem, then profusely branched. Flowers whitish,
discoid; involucral bracts white, papery.
