ROSACEAE
Primocanes arching to 10ft high, up to 1 in diameter,
tip-rooting and often creeping; floricane branches often
further branched, mostly not flowering, petals pale pink
when present; locally common. Growing in sun to
partial shade in a thicket along the N. fork of
Strawberry Creek, along the NW side of the creek just
S of a foot bridge. Around 200ft N of the E part of the
Valley Life Sciences Building, University of California,
Berkeley, Alameda Co. Elev. about 245ft. 37° 52'
21.0"N, 122° 15' 43.8"W; UTM 10S 564894E,
4191928N (NAD83/WGS84).
