Galllardla pulchella Foug.
HOUSTON COUNTY: Collected along a country road just
off of State Highway 19, several miles south of
Crockett, Texas. Growing unshaded near the roadside in
loose, sandy, brownish soil above a swale. Appeared
scattered in distribution at this site. Plants
appeared to be near the end of their flowering period.
Ray flowers yellow and red; disc flowers
yellowish-brown.
