Cara Creek, rocky island and adjacent banks; tributary of Kako River, near border with Venezuela. 506 m. 5°32'50.3"N 60°53'47.9"W. West end of island with large gravel bar and prone to scouring, east end of island wet forest rich in epiphytes. Erect herb on gravel bars. Leaf bases beige.
