GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Cara Creek, rocky island and adjacent
banks; tributary of Kako River, near border with Venezuela. 506 m.
5°32'50.3"N 60°53'47.9"W. West end of island with large gravel bar and
prone to scouring, east end of island wet forest rich in epiphytes. Erect
herb on gravel bars. Leaf bases beige. Inflorescence scapose, digitate, on
underside of rachis. Palea and lemma green, nutlet brown. Silica
sample.
