GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. 491 m. 5°37'5.6"N 60o40'58.1"W. Swamp
forest grading to submerged swamp to burned savanna to wet savanna and
semi-scrub. Erect herb in wet places. Leaf bases white. Leaves a rosette,
stiff. Inflorescence scapose. Involucres dusty green, flowers white, scape
40cm (same as KJW 5102?). Silica sample.
