Rosulate herb. Leaves deep green semi-shiny
above with pale midrib; light green, semi-shiny below.
Petiole light green. Stem and peduncles of heads dark
olive-green. Involucral bracts deep olive-green with pale
green midrib, apex and apical short bristles red-purple.
Outermost ray corollas abaxially greyish oiive-green
centrally, yellow at margins, adaxially yellow with apex
tinged red-purple. Inner corollas all yellow. Style, stigma
and anthers yellow.
