Petioles green above, sheathing base purplish. Leaves bright grass- green above; paler, yellowish green below. In fruit. Growing among rocks in exposed sites. Cascade Mountains, Skagit Range SE of Chilliwack, Mount McGuire, steep rocky trail near side of scree slope, upper most 1/6 of trail, ca. 1850-1880 m elev., 49° 02'07" N, 121° 45'15" W.
