PLANTS OF CALIFORNIA Siskiyou County 1211 a Kosa A, A. Heller, collector July 18, 1915 Metcalf’s ranch, northeast base of Mt. Eddy in moist soil in the forest, elevation 3900 feet. The prevalent tree is Douglas fir with some white fir and sugar pine, after cutting the original stand of Jeffrey jpjine. The common undershrubs are ceanothus and Uva-ursi in theory place? with Saluc and Corylus in low ground.
