GUYANA. Cl Concession, north side of Himara Creek. Along boundary
north from junction with Line 12. 121 m 3°22'9.1"N 58°5'46.4"W. Forest
on laterite, crossed by one creek. Monopodial tree to 8m, 15 cm dbh, cut
down to collect. Trunk topped with crown of leaves and inflorescence.
Leaves compound up to lm long. Leaflets coriaceous with prominent 2°
veins underneath. Inflor massive, apparently terminal and axillary
panicles. Petioles and inflor rachis lightly brown rufous. Flowers with
brown-green cupular sepals with minute lobes. Petals 5, green-cream,
slighlty reflexed midway. Stamens partly fused to corona-like structures,
free distally, cream. Gynoecium conspicuously 5-lobed, yellow. Pistil
cream, stigma small. To 127m, 3°22'16.6"N, 58°5'48.4"W. Silica sample.
