Swamp forest grading to submerged swamp to burned savanna to wet
savanna and semi-scrub. Shrub to 2m. Leaves coriaceous, glossy green,
white tawny below. Inflorescence terminal panicle, covered in brown
trichomes. Fruits brown. Silica sample.
