Reservation. Upper Castro Canyon, NE of the “Falls” area (NE corner
of Section 24) and upstream to approximately 0.25 west of the Forest
Service Boundary (SE 1/4, SE 1/4 of Section 18). T9S R1W N 1/3
sec. 19; T9S R1W S 1/3 sec. 18. Elev. 1400 - 2000 Feet.
Areas of riparian woodland with Quercus agrifolia, Q. chrysolepis,
Platanus racemosa, Populus balsamifera ssp. trichocarpa,
Toxicodendron diversilobum, etc. Granitic substrate with sandy loam
soil; aspect SW; slope 10-180%.
Woody shrub, 2’-3’ tall.
