fruit Birds eat the ripe fruits of this plant.
bark The inner bark of the bole or of branches
are used to make a small grass skirt worn with
nambas-traditional attire . The bark is scraped,
dried and then produced into a frill which is at-
tached beneath the penis sheath.
entire plant If used as a firewood, the smoke ir-
ritates and bums the skin.
