Description
Aquatic herb, leaves floating on water. Buds square when viewed apically. Flowers ca. 4 mm diam.; perianth uniseriate, the sepals 4, green; stamens 8, the filaments ca. 1 mm long, green, the anthers red; nectary surrounding bases of filaments dark red; ovary inferior, the stigma short, bifid. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
