leaf When a person is sick and has lost the taste
for food, often occurring with a sore throat, take
a pile of these leaves and put them in a kettle and
boil. Drink 1 cup hot, 2x daily for 3-5 days. This
reduces the swelling in the throat and a person
can taste food again.
leaf Steam cook the leaves and add them to
cooked manioc roots for a traditional island meal.
