on the body, crush young shoots and leaves of
this plant and place it on the sore. Cover with a
young leaf of the same species, leave on a day or
two until the sore is dry.
leaf When chewing kava in the nakamal (village
meeting place and ceremonial kava grounds) one
uses this leaf to hold the masticated kava before
it is extracted.
