bark For upset stomach, this induces diarrhea to
rid the body of sickness. Scratch bark then place
inside of Navenu (Macaranga dioica) leaf. Add
spoon of water then squeeze the substance into 1
cup of water. It is consumed immediately.
leaf To dry baby’s mouth (ca. 3 mos. age), stop-
ping excess saliva. Add | handful of leaves to
a navenu (Macaranga dioica) leaf. Squeeze into
one cup of water and consume. Often induces
baby to vomit. Considered a practice of Ane-
ityum.
