POLYGALACEAE Securidaca diversifolia (L.)Blake Det. J. Wurdack 1986 Utrecht, Kanuku Mts •, Rupununi R., Bush Mouth near Witaru Falls. 03 04 N 059 28 W Alt. 90 - 120 m Savanna and nearby open forest. Liana on Curatella americana, to 4 m tall. Included phloem. Young leaves reddish. All leaves simple. Sepals red-purple at base, lighter towards apex. Petals rose-purple, midveins darker. Upper petals yellow at base. Style green-white, stigma reddish near apex. Young stems green on lower side, bluish-grey on upper side.
