wash ca. I air km WNW of base golf course & ca. 5 air km SE of
Camp Wilson. Ca. 4 air km SSE of southern tip of Deadman Lake.
(Near 34°15.5,N, 116o06.4*W; UTM: NH 91N, 81E; 91N, 82E;
90N, 82E -portions of each.) Elev. ca. 2000 ft. Creosote bush
scrub/desert wash communities; with Larrea tridentata, Ambro-
sia dumosa, Hilaria rigida, Hymenoclea saisola, Ephedra neva-
densis, Datura wrightii, Prosopis giandulosa, Acacia greggii, &
Psorothamnus spinosus. Uncommon subshrub; ca. 2-3 ft. high;
fis. orange-red.
