Nee, 2010 Ohio, Lake Co., between McDonalds fast food restaurant and motel along Auburn Road, S of 1-90, exit 200. 41°39’55”N, 81°14’43”W. alt 280 m. Cultivated ornamental; small tree 9 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter. Leaves mostly still on the tree, but all yellow except some of the ones in the lower canopy still somewhat green. Fruit orangish tan, hard, being avidly fed on by a flock of starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) which swallow the fruits whole. Coll.: M. Nee 57238 13 Nov. 2010 02854205
