Petals white, anthers rosy-purple, filaments white; bud scales fuzzy; twigs fuzzy on new growth. Growing in a brushy, 21 year old old-field next to the muddy ditch (filled with water) of an old truck path with Juniperus virginiana, Rosa multiflora, Quercus alba and Artemisia vulgaris. Matthew C.
