Vegetation dominated by woodland of Pinus jeffreyi,
Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus chrysolepis, and
scattered Calocedrus decurrens, Abies concolor, and Acer
macrophyllum. Understory shrubs including Rhamnus
californica, Ceanothus integerrimus, Fremontodendron
californicum, Cercocarpus betuloides, Prunus virginiana,
Ribes roezlii, and R. nevadense.
Locally common deciduous shrub ca 15-26 dm tall.
