Vegetational Survey of RICHARD B. RUSSELL DAM AND LAKE AREA GEORGIA Prunus umbellata Ell. On upper, drier portion of east-facing, steep, hard- wood slope. Large tree with many broken limbs. Site #4 (Lat. 34o03,34"; Long. 82°37f40"), about 0.5 mile south of the Ga. 72 bridge over the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be impounded in mid-1980's by U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
