Prunus sp.
A small tree with dark, close, rough bark and small red frnits called “sloes.”
The pedicels are densely tomentos* and the calyx lobes are triangular, erect
densely cilate, not glandular. Frequent on sand or clay land. These’
sandy land south of Aiiburn.
