The New York Botanical Garden Cultivated Plants of U.S.A. Rosaceae Prunus x subhirtella Miq. “Autumnalis” “865/2002 E PT L 865/2002 Princeton Nurseries” New York, Bronx Co., Bronx, New York Botanical Garden, ornamental at E end of Harding Lab building. 40°51’56”N, 73°52’50”W. alt. 28 m Tree 4 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter; bark with pronounced horizontal lenticels. Very mild autumn with no frost yet. Flowers abundant, visited by Apis mellifera (12:50 P.M., overcast, some drizzle); buds pink; open flowers paler pink, almost white. The same tree collected with mature leaves on 31 July 2011 sub no. Nee 58083. Coll.: M. Nee 54732 1 Dec. 2006 02851521
