The New York Botanical Garden Plants of U.S. A. NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 02851383 Rosaceae Primus serotina Ehrh. det. M. Nee, 2011 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of center of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; SE lA SE % sect. 26. 43°18’31”N, 90°19’51”W. alt. 235 m. Patch of trees on E-facing slope, surrounded by agricultural fields. With Juglans nigra, Carya ovata, Celtis occidentalis in a small patch of woodland which has grown up since the 1960s. Tree 18 m. tall, 30 cm. in diameter; bark dark, flaky. Flowers past, a few very young fruits developing. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Wood specimen taken from about 5 m. above ground, from erect, main trunk. Coll: M. Nee 57963 8 June 2011 02851383
