Near the turnoff at Bear to Cuprum. About .8 miles west of
junction between FR 002 and FR 071 on FR 071.
In ponderosa pine opening on 0-5% SW-facing slope in clay
soil with rocks and gravel. Less rocky subsoil. With
Eriogonum, Allium, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Clematis
hirsutissima and some Penstemon. (No sagebrush present
at Lomatium sites, but present where there are no
Lomatiums.)
Sweet smell.
