Leon County: on site several acres in extent
having been completely cleared of wet woodland
vegetation during extended drought during 1987-
88 then to some extent covered with fillr-soil,
a mixture of sand and fine black organic
material. Soil now compacted arid for the most
part moderately wet, the whole area very abun-
dantly colonized by annuals, mostly sedges. S
side of Capital Circle (Fla. rd 263) and 0.2t0.3
miles from its- crossing of Capital Circle and
Fla. Rt 20, W side of Tallahassee.
