Eriophyllum Wallacei Gray
White-woolly annual 2-12 cm. tall, stem single or with few to
many spreading branches from near base; corollas bright yellow.
Frequent in granitic sand of bajada in Larrea-Lycium-Simmondsia
association, altitude ca. 2500 feet. Near 29 Palms, just outside
north boundary of Joshua Tree National Monument,
San Bernardino County.
