In reddish gravelly sand of Lycium-scrub association, with Erio-
phyllum Pringlei, Erysimum, Lupinus, Nemacladus, Oenothera,
Gilia.
Between highway 91 and railway tracks, 0.2 miles east of Boron,
Kern County.
