20° N-facing slope of soft pumice sand and gravel. Open dry
woodland of Pinus flexilis intergrading into P. contorta forest
downslope. With Leptodactylon pungens, Erysimum capitatum,
Raillardella argentea.
Occasional, usually in shade of Pinus.
