Wisconsin: Richland Co., 3 miles SE of Richland Center along
bicycle trail along old RR tracks, brushy areas in flat valley of
Pine River but above flood plain.
T 10 N; R 1 E; NEVSNWVi Sect. 36.
Several slender young trees with straight trunks in a colony, to 6
m. tall, 5 cm. in diameter; bark reddish brown. Very few
immature green fruits. The species is rare and sporadic in the area
and this may be a single self-incompatible clone?
