Arenga 1*0°** dJ/t-A-K*u<Jrirlon Small understory palm; stems clustered, short and subterranean. Leaves ca. 9; sheaths fibrous, 10 cm long; petioles 33-74 cm long, green, terete throughout; rachises 13-29 cm long with 2-5, irregularly arranged pinnae per side; pinnae silvery-gray abaxially. Inflorescences apparently unisexual and plants dioecious; pistillate inflorescences 35 cm long, usually with a single rachilla; staminate inflorescences 25 cm long with 2-3 rachillae; individual stems apparently monocarpic with basipetal inflorescence maturation.
