OREGON, Baker Co., 0.1 mile N of Conner Creek along toe slopes of Brownlee Reservoir, about 24 road miles SW of Richland, Oregon; Artemisia tridentata ssp. tridentata/grass - degraded, heavy present use by horses; stoney, shale soil; east exposure, 40- 60% slope, 2160 ft.; occasional with Artemisia dracunculus, Chrysothamnus vlscidiflorus, C. nauseosus, Bromus tectorum and Eriogonum compositum; about 15 plants at this site, all but one (2637) are narrow-leaved forms; escaped pop. extends some 25 mi. from Prevost Ck. to Canyon Ck. with main concentration on lower Conner Ck. and the adjacent three draws to the north; plants 13" X 25Õin size.
