Rocky riverside withmpids, riverine vegetation, cerrado with sandstone outcrops and some grassland areas subject to flooding, but dry at time of collection. Approx. 41°50,V/, 13°36'S. ca. 980m. Shrub to 50cm. Leaves dark green above, somewhat grey-green beneath. Male spikes ? pale yellow green with pale yellow anthers..
