  • Description

    Pileus 5-6.5 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, barely subvelutinous on disc to subtomentose to matted fibrillose, viscid when wet, soon dry, grayish lilac to pinkish brown. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and bitter? taste. Tubes adnexed, pinkish vinaceous, staining pale brown, with pores likewise. Stipe 4-7 cm long, 8-13 mm broad, equal or slightly broader below, dry, subpruinose streaked, grayish lilac to grayish rose, white at base, developing pale olive tones with age, with interior white, unchanging.
