Small patch of plants, growing in mottled sun, in leafy duff at the top of a gentle slope. Rays white, disk flowers opening yellow and aging to magenta-rose. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Lindera benzoin, Acer platanoides, Fagus grandifolia, and Quercus rubra. Matthew C.
