Rays white, disk flowers opening yellow and aging to magenta-rose. In humus rich soil duff soil on a low slope close to a vernal stream. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Quercus palustris, Carya, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Aralia elata, Acer platanoides, and Maianthemum racemosum. Matthew C.
