Habitat
Sandstone, metamorphic and quartzite rock outcrops with associated marsh, damp flushes and grassland, and some cut-over mixed deciduous woodland by stream and cerrado; This plant growing in disturbed cerrado.

Description
Slender subshrub to ca. 60 cm. Leaves rather fleshy glaucous with pale yellow green primary veins. Calyx tube pale green. Petals yellow. Anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
