Loam over gravelly glacial till. Margin of secondary forest, hedgerow, with Acer negundo, Alliaria, Bromus inermis, Celtis occidentalis, Comus racemosa, Festuca obtusa, Fraxinus, Geum canadense, Juglans, Morus, Prunus serotina, Ptelea trifoliata, Vitis riparia.
