Alpine tundra. Over Sphagnum, seepage moistened, insolated ledges.

Description
L. attenuata with yellow, bulging trigones; marginal cells ca 16-17 u; gemmiparous shoots very attenuata; mod. pachyderma. Phenology of specimen: Gemmae.
