University of Colorado Museum (Herb. COLO)
This Potentilla seems to key to P. uniTlora, but doesn't resemble those
in the U S N H in (1) shape and size of bractletsj (2) size of flower, i# e.
petals less than the 6-8 mm as given in the description; and (3) shape of
leaflets*
However the cespitose form, number of flowers, size of plant and distribu-
tion lead one to P* uniflora in the keys* In some respects this fits P* yahliana
altho it is a taller plant and the distribution is wrong. Distribution of P.
villosa is right, shape of leaf, and bractlets is correct, but plant is too
tall and flowers are too small*
