    Central Tallgrass Prairie. Open wet prairie with shrubby borders. Soil very wet, some areas with standing / slowly flowing water. One of the few natural areas in the region. Growing with Spiranthes magnicamporum, Gentiana andrewsii, Liatris, and Eryngium yuccifolium.

    Flowers ivory white, tubular in profile, very S. magnicamporum-like. Labellum glabrous, not papillate. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
