No. 79°4, collected May 30, in a meadow about two miles
northeast of Redding, Shasta county. It was not very plentiful,
i nor was it noticed elsewhere in the vicinity. Douglas obtained
j the type somewhere in /the coast region, probably about Mon-
i terey, where it is not unpommon.
