    Herbaceous annual, 10 cm tall; tap root; ascending to spreading, strigose; alternate leaves; flower 1mm diameter, white; nutlets 4, widely spreading, margins dentate, fused at base; persistent simple style. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Ambrosia dumosa, Ephedra, Larrea. Others: Mirabilis,
Grayia, Rafinesquia, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Krameria
erecta, Ambrosia salsola, Lepidium fremontii.
