United States of America. New York. Hamilton Co. Just east of Long Lake, town of Long Lake, north of Shaw Pond, north side of Newcomb Road / 28N. Adirondack Forest, Adirondack Mountains.

Habitat
In a wet roadside ditch and Sphagnum seep under a power-line cut, with Solidago, Symphyotrichum lateriflorum, and Eriophorum virginicum. At the edge of a coniferous northern boreal forest.

Description
Flowers pure white, faintly fragrant with a general floral scent or lacking fragrance. Lateral sepals arching downward. Very common in the immediate area. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
